Very cool. I'm really liking the UCSR. They're really growing on me.

Just like in the real world, a tank can do a lot of damage and can carry a fair amount of armor. But it comes at a price. It is heavy, so it is slow.
Just because I have to be a know it all, tanks are actually extremely fast in the open.  City landscapes, with tight corners, as well as tanks traps and minefields force them to move slowly.

Touche.

I was looking at it from the urban/ city fighting stand-point, but you are correct, in the open most modern tanks are fairly fast and still bring awesome fire power to the arena. But, as you stated, in an urban enviroment, especially when collateral damage needs to be avoided, tanks make big (and slow) targets.

Anyway, back on topic. Can't wait to see the greens for this guy. (First, I need to see the KemVar assassin greens!) I have a feeling that by the time the USCR hit the table, we all will have figured out some ways of putting down the Behemoth. If need be, we can just hire the FFC to do it for us.

Either figure that out or follow the old saying:

Love the concept art so far.  I think painting them white will make them look spectacular.

Anyways back to the off topic part,  tanks are one of the fastest ground combat vehicles the military uses.  Speaking from experience, the M1 series tanks are governed to 45mph, however taking the governor off is a simple process, allowing the tank to go so fast the tracks can literally be blown off(not before the rubber treads have melted away though, Wink  )  In an urban environment tanks are again one of the fastest (only outpaced by bikes) vehicles.  Acceptable collateral damage is necessary to achieve those speeds, but that is why it is acceptable Wink

Welcome! Its always good to see new faces around the forum. Grin

And yes, Keith does a superb job on the concept art. (The Behemoth especially should look really cool on the tabletop)
